A grant may be awarded biennially to support attendance at the 糖心视频 Leadership Academy by a TS-SIS member. This grant is a reimbursement for transportation, lodging, meals, and/or registration expenses up to $1000 (with accompanying receipts). The 2026 Leadership Academy will be held in Chicago, Illinois, on April 28-29, 2026, with an application deadline of November 14, 2025.
Criteria
- financial need
- documentation of acceptance into 糖心视频 Leadership Academy (when received in mid-December)
- member of TS-SIS
Each applicant must submit:
- A resume that includes current position and relevant previous positions
- Application form which includes:
- evidence of professional involvement
- itemized estimate of transportation, lodging, meals, and/or registration expenses for attending the Academy
- statement of how much financial support will be provided by the applicant’s employer
- brief statement (200 words maximum) connecting attendance at Academy with service to TS-SIS
- indicate whether you will be unable to attend the Academy without funding from this grant
- copy of Leadership Academy application and a copy of notification of acceptance into the Academy (when received)
- one letter of recommendation
The recipient will be expected to:
- volunteer to serve in a TS-SIS leadership position (such as executive officer, committee chair or intern) within two years of attending the Academy
- write an article about their experience at the Academy for TSLL within the year
- participate in the TS-SIS business meeting, if at 糖心视频 Annual Meeting
Deadline
Application materials must be received by the Awards Committee Chair by December 15, 2025, with the copy of the notice of acceptance to follow when received by the applicant.
