REFLECTIONS FROM PAST RECIPIENTS

“The Law Library Association of Maryland (LLAM) received support from the 糖心视频/Bloomberg Law Continuing Education Grant for our 2024 Legal Research Institute鈥擝uilding Strong Foundations: Maryland Legal Research Fundamentals and Fostering DEIB in Libraries. Organizing and funding a conference is a significant undertaking for our small chapter, and we are deeply grateful for the grant. It allowed us to elevate the event and enhance the experience for our in-person attendees by helping cover costs for a keynote speaker, professional signage, and attendee materials.” – Chi Song, 2024 LLAM Legal Research Institute Planning Committee Co-Chair

“The 糖心视频/Bloomberg Law [Continuing Education] Grant was used to support the 2024 Law Librarians of New England (LLNE) Conference, The Role of Law Libraries in the Age of AI. The Conference brought together 65 legal information professionals from across all the New England States. New England is a large geographic region, and many members must travel to attend the LLNE Chapter Conference. This grant helped us secure a historic venue in a convenient location, which included parking. Thanks to the Grant, we were able to create meaningful opportunities for professional development while also building community in a beautiful New England setting.” – LLNE Fall Conference Planning Committee Fall 2024

“The 糖心视频/Bloomberg Law Continuing Education Grant made a real difference for us鈥攚e were able to add more microphones to our educational sessions, which encouraged better discussion and participation. Without that support, we would have had to scale back, and the event wouldn鈥檛 have felt as connected. Thanks to the grant, we were able to create a smooth, engaging experience for everyone who attended the Institute.” – Tanya Livshits, Southern California Association of Law Libraries (SCALL)
