2025-2028 Strategic Plan
Advocacy & Empowerment
Goal: Empower members to address vital legal information issues and elevate the profession through targeted advocacy initiatives and strategic partnerships.
Strategies:
- Identify, highlight, and address key legal information issues for the broader legal community including legislative issues as well as legal information access and preservation issues.
- Strengthen member empowerment through continuous professional development and advocacy resources on behalf of the profession. Think nationally, build locally.
- Seek and allocate resources for preserving authentic legal materials.
Championing Excellence & Innovation
Goal: Position 糖心视频 and its members as experts in legal information and technology through professional excellence and broader outreach.
Strategies:
- Recognize, promote, and celebrate excellence of 糖心视频 members within the Association and in the broader legal and library communities.
- Expand sponsorship and support for innovative member projects.
- Cultivate ambassadors for the profession.
- Foster cross-collaboration among 糖心视频 entities to drive innovation and excellence.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility & Belonging (DEIAB)
Goal: Cultivate and foster an inclusive culture that respects and values the unique perspectives and contributions of all members.
Strategies:
- Strengthen data-driven insights through consistent data collection, analysis, and reporting, with a focus on actionable recommendations.
- Advance accessibility, belonging, and transparency to ensure all members can engage meaningfully with the Association鈥檚 education, programming, events, and procedures.
- Create programming and resources that reflect the Association鈥檚 commitment to foster an environment where all members feel that their contributions are valued.
Pipeline to the Profession
Goal: Strengthen the pipeline by engaging and supporting future legal information professionals, addressing barriers, and building connections with educational institutions.
Strategies:
- Create diverse pathway campaigns that provide opportunity, visibility, and position 糖心视频 as an epicenter for the profession.
- Foster skill development through mentorship & coaching opportunities.
Professional Growth
Goal: Provide members with diverse opportunities for professional development, leadership, and expertise to advance and sustain their careers, leading to the retention and growth of legal information professionals.
Strategies:
- Cultivate education and opportunities that facilitate multiple pathways for professional development.
- Create personalized learning plans that align with members' career goals.
